A YouTube clip making fun of Libyan leader Qaddafi's recent speech was created by an Israeli in Tel Aviv and has gained overnight fame as one of the funniest video clips on YouTube.

The clip's creator, Noy Alooshe, said that while he was watching Qaddafi's televised speech last week he noticed that the leader was dressed strangely and raised his arms like he was at a trance party, and repeated certain words and phrases, so the idea occurred to him that it would make a perfect parody. He spent a few hours at his computer using the auto-tune technology to set the speech to the music of "Hey Baby", a recent dance song featuring American rapper Pitbull and T-Pain. He titled it "Zenga-Zenga", after the oft-repeated word in Qaddafi's speech "zanqa", meaning alleyway in Arabic.

Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel were pictured as not understanding the World Wide Web back in 1994 on a "Today" show clip that was leaked by an NBC staffer to YouTube. The staffer was subsequently fired when the leak was traced back to him. In what is probably one of the funniest clips from the "Today" show ever, you seen Gumbel and Couric looking utterly confused when they are discussing the Internet on the show.

In regards to email, Gumbel says "What, do you write to it like mail?" Couric then turned to a producer off-screen and asked if he could explain what the Internet was. They both seemed very perplexed by what that weird letter-A thing was ("@"). The clip got so much attention on YouTube that NBC felt the need to fire the poster, which probably makes them look worse then the clip ever did.

Many people use their smartphone for watching funny video clips. It seems that the H.264 video format is the main format that is suitable for watching these videos on a smartphone.

For instance, Apple has long claimed that they will not make their mobile products Flash compatible because Flash drains the battery life too much. Instead the company has backed the H.264 Codecs, which has led to an increase in the popularity of this codec over Flash. For example, YouTube has converted its entire library to H.264 for playback on iOS devices. So with a lot on the line, it is good that a popular IT site took it upon themselves to actually test Apple's assertion that Flash drains more battery life.

They created two video files of the same movies and played them back using different apps on both an iPod Touch and a Samsung Galaxy Tab. The results actually backed up Apple's case, as their video app was more frugal with the power and the difference in battery life was notable on the Galaxy Tab with the Flash codec draining battery faster then the H.264.
