South Park TV Series

South Park is a comedy animated series created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker in 1991. The series follows the adventures of four children in a small mountain town in Colorado with, using them as pretext for acidic satire of the people's way of life, taboos, celebrities and everyday facts in America. The TV series excels in using parody and black humor.
South Park has become famous for attacking open and challenging controversial issues such as abortion, homosexuality, violence and sex in the media, religion, but also
issues on everyday news: the war in Iraq, the presidential elections of 2000 and 2004, or the floods from New Orleans in 2005. Sometimes the reaction of the creators is amazingly fast: for example in Episode 715, "It's Christmas in Canada " where Saddam Hussein is showed as a prisoner, was released on December 17, 2003 just three days after the actual incarceration of Saddam in Iraq.
