New Movie Release Featuring Jim Carrey With Funniest Clip Preview
The last time that Jim Carrey released a comedy during the highly competitive summer movie season was in 1995. Yet Carrey is making a comeback in summer 2011 with the new movie release "Mr. Popper's Penguins", and judging by the title alone this is a perfect movie fit for the actor. While Carrey has had success as a dramatic actor, his loyal fans seem to overwhelmingly prefer when he makes them laugh in comedies, especially those involving animals.
The "Penguins" movie is based on a 1939 Newberry Award winning book about a man who inherits a group of penguins, which turn his life into total chaos. The movie will keep the central premise, but the plot will be slightly updated. A main difference is that in the book, Mr. Popper is a modest house painter, while in the movie he is portrayed as rich businessman.
